HDMI TO DVI

Hey i have a freesat HD box which has a HDMI slot in the back even though my TV is HD Ready it only has the DVI slot in the back so i was wondering if i got one of those HDMI to DVI connections whould that give me the picture in HD on the HD channels ?

HD channels you have to subscribe to i think. Check everywhere on your telly though for the HDMI socket. If it says it is HD ready, it should have at least two of these sockets. They can be anywhere besides the back, check the sides of the telly and any hidden compartments. Answering your question though, you should be able to convert it well with the adaptor but it won't have the same quality to having it plugged directly into a HDMI socket.
